My bumper animation visually displays who I am as a designer and what drives me as a creative. The aspects in the bumper come from the setting of my home town - Lake Tekapo; it is an alpine village on the South Island of New Zealand. The ice / snow & mountain elements represent major aspects of my childhood, and the development of who I am today; this in turn, is portrayed through my design.
Rustic, rough, weathered, organic, wild yet peaceful. The natural colour scheme of the wilderness. I like how natural colours are not alarming; they go hand in hand with one another. To use the same pallet in a design sense, helps me to connect people with nature.
Calm & reserved. cool headed and unfazed. Aspects of space and its mysterious beauty help to generate dreamlike visuals; appreciated without the over saturation of colours and sounds invading ones subconsciousness.
Nostalgic, Reminiscent & old school. The typography & style that comes with classic films and posters; captures the rough imperfect style that I love. Design with wear and tear, the weathered look of something with sentimental value helps to create a nostalgic feel.
